What it actually does

Paint and mount all eight planets on a rotating arm. Solar System Model Kit by LabKit, sized for ages 6-12. We keep the listing honest: everything below is what we measured on our own test shelf, not what the box promises. Inside the box: 9 planet spheres, stand, 6 paints, brush, guide. One real limitation: Paint needs two coats and a full day to dry before assembly.

Bought it for a birthday and it was the gift everyone crowded around. Worth the price for the reaction alone. Only gripe: loud on hard floors.

My 7-year-old worked out the controls in about ten minutes and then would not put it down all weekend.

It does exactly what the video shows. That is rarer than it should be. Only gripe: instructions are thin.
