What it actually does

A 45cm T-Rex with a jaw that opens and a chest that rumbles. Roaring T-Rex Deluxe by TerraBeasts, sized for ages 6-12. We keep the listing honest: everything below is what we measured on our own test shelf, not what the box promises. Inside the box: T-Rex, batteries, fossil card. One real limitation: Heavy for its size — a 6-year-old will mostly carry it, not battle with it.

Battery life is the weak point, but the play value in that window is high.

My daughter is a bit younger than the recommended age and needed help at first. Fine now. Only gripe: battery could be bigger.

Ordered on a Tuesday, delivered Thursday. Packaging was solid and nothing was loose in the box. Only gripe: instructions are thin.

It does exactly what the video shows. That is rarer than it should be. Only gripe: small parts need supervision.

Honest note: the first unit had a sticky wheel, support replaced it in three days without an argument.
