What We Didn't Like

Paint rubs at the claws if it is used as an everyday toy rather than a figure.

In the box

  • Raptor figure
  • display base

What it actually does

Hand-painted scales and a pose that holds on a shelf. Realistic Velociraptor Figure by TerraBeasts, sized for ages 4-12. We keep the listing honest: everything below is what we measured on our own test shelf, not what the box promises. Inside the box: Raptor figure, display base. One real limitation: Paint rubs at the claws if it is used as an everyday toy rather than a figure.

Battery life is the weak point, but the play value in that window is high.

My daughter is a bit younger than the recommended age and needed help at first. Fine now. Only gripe: needs smooth floor.

Honest note: the first unit had a sticky wheel, support replaced it in three days without an argument. Only gripe: instructions are thin.

Ordered on a Tuesday, delivered Thursday. Packaging was solid and nothing was loose in the box. Only gripe: battery could be bigger.
